VOICES_EU Embarks on Its Journey as Partners Unite for the Online Kick-Off

On 1 December 2025, the VOICES_EU project officially began its 23‑month journey. Just a few days later, on 4 December, the consortium launched its work with an online kick-off meeting. Representatives from all partner organisations—AFEdemy, LNF, SUSTENTO, F6S, Voorall and CABPS—came together for the first time to introduce themselves, align expectations, and set the foundation for the collaboration ahead.

VOICES_EU is an Erasmus+ cooperation partnership dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to design and lead impactful awareness-raising campaigns and advocate for their rights. The project will co-create an inclusive and accessible learning toolkit developed together with people with disabilities and their support networks.

During the kick-off, partners discussed the project structure, upcoming tasks, and the preparation of key documents, including the quality assurance plan, the initial work plan, the visibility and dissemination plan, and the sustainability and impact plan.

The consortium also began preparations for the first in-person transnational meeting, which will take place in Gouda on 29–30 January 2026.

In the excitement of finally meeting—albeit online—the consortium forgot to take a group photo. We will certainly do better next time when we meet in person in Gouda.

The VOICES_EU partnership now moves forward with a shared commitment to co-create accessible learning materials, strengthen advocacy skills, and amplify the voices of people with disabilities across Europe. The journey has officially begun, and we look forward to sharing our progress with you.
