What VOICES_EU is
VOICES_EU is a European project that helps people with disabilities learn how to speak up for their rights, share their experiences, and lead awareness-raising campaigns.
Why it exists
Many people with disabilities face barriers in daily life — fewer opportunities, lower income, limited access to education, and fewer chances to be heard. The project exists to change that by giving people the tools and confidence to express their needs and influence decisions that affect them.
Main objectives
To empower people with disabilities to advocate for themselves.
- To collect good practices in awareness-raising and advocacy.
- To co‑create an accessible learning toolkit with people with disabilities.
- To support participation and leadership in communities across Europe.
Who benefits
- People with disabilities of all ages
- Their organisations, families, and communities
- Stakeholders in education, employment, sports, and public life who want to become allies and ambassadors
Expected impact
VOICES_EU will create a fully accessible online and printable toolkit that helps people with disabilities design strong campaigns and make their voices heard.
The long‑term goal is a more inclusive Europe where people with disabilities can participate fully and are respected.
